Address: Tørningvej 6, Vojens 6500

Spoil yourself with a musical experience of the highest order when the irish folk band Almost Irish visits Tørning Mill. Almost Irish consist of the four musical brothers Rasmus, Alexander, Lukas, and Jacob who all share the same last name Nielsen.

The concerts in 2015 and 2016 were once again a huge success. Therefore Almost Irish is back again on Wednesday Oct. 11 and Thursday Oct. 12 2017 at 19.30. Here we can look forward to experience the four musical brothers Rasmus, Alexander, Lukas, and Jacob who all share the same last name Nielsen at Tørning Mill when they interpret the Irish folk music. It is guaranteed to be a great musical treat.

These four musical brothers compose a sweet symphony with a mix of polyphonic singing, Irish whistles, guitars, violin, tenor banjo, bouzouki, mandolin, double bass, and drums. All musical ingredients combined form an impressive whole and is near the closest thing you can get to Irish music in Denmark. The brothers dig up the old Irish songs and melodies and interpret them in their own musical univers, but still manage to maintain authenticity and a deep respect for tradition.

Enjoy this amazing concert seated at a café table with a glass of wine or a cold beer. During the break you can buy coffee and cookies.
